바론의 대모험

테리 길리엄의 영화로 어릴적 동화 <허풍선이 남작의 모험>을 영화화한 것으로 주인공은 바론이라는 허풍선이 남작이 벌이는 모험담입니다.
예전 이 감독의 영화로는 브라질(한국에서는 여인의 음모라는 다소 황당한 제목)을 본 적이 있는데, 이제보니 다른 많은 영화들이 있었네요. 언제고 시간내서 함 보고는 싶은데, 쉽게 구할수나 있을런지...

게중 단연 첫번째는 단연코 "허공에의 질주" Running On Empty입니다.
아주 아주 오래전 동네마다 비디오 가게가 있을때, 우연히 발견하고 본 영화인데, 한참 세월이 지난 얼마전 다시 보았는데도, 역시나 그 감동은 여전했습니다.

그리고 이 영화의 중간, 집에서 엄마의 생일 파티중 James Tayor의 Fire and Rain이란 곡이 나오죠.
